
Gemini energy is inquisitive, adaptable, and communicative. An intellect, Gemini believes that sharing information is the greatest gift. Gemini energy is ruled by Mercury making it a lover of conversation, travel, reading and writing. The Colour Orange
Orange is a secondary colour made from primary colours red and yellow. It is associated with excitement and energy, often considered as bright, happy and uplifting. In psychology, it is perceived as attention-grabbing and highly stimulating (certainly in line with Gemini energy!) Orange can be witnessed as the show-stopping hue in a bright evening sunset or the bearer of refreshing taste in a citrus fruit.

Orange-coloured fruits and vegetables contain the pigment carotenoid, most specifically beta-carotene. Our bodies convert beta-carotene into Vitamin A (retinol) aiding with vision, overall immunity and eye health. Beta-carotene is also an antioxidant that helps the body fight against free radicals (damaging molecules) naturally produced in the body or from environmental sources such as pollution, smoking, and exposure to toxic chemicals to name a few.

Orange coloured foods really boost the natural essence of the Gemini Energy, enhancing vitality and the life force within. If you have Gemini Sun or Gemini Rising energies, orange foods like these are your go-to for fuelling your curiosity, movement and uplifting energy:
Fruits & Vegetables – orange, apricot, tangerine, peaches, cantaloupe, sweet potato, kumquats, butternut squash, and carrot
Lentils, Whole Grains, Nuts & Seeds – masoor dal or red lentils, teff and popcorn
Spices & Herbs – turmeric and curry spice
The art of the colour wheel reminds us that everything is best in balance and so to ensure a balance to the Gemini energy, it is beneficial to add its complimentary colour on the opposite side of the wheel which is the Blue of Sagittarius.
